Our kids played hooky!

Glynn & I took our kids fishing Monday in Sargent and what a day they had! We bought a quart of shrimp and headed to Mitchell's cut to find many species willing to bend the rod for the kids. No "trophies" to speak of but you couldn't convince them of it, the smiles tell it all. Check out the "spot" on the tail of the redfish that my youngest son caught, is that cool or what? They may have all skipped school that day but what they learned on the water can't be taught from a class room!

Its been getting a bit chilly here but we have managed a few good catches. The striped bass are starting to turn on and good catches of trout and reds continue to come to the dock. Here are a few pics from some family fishing on Thanksgiving Day. The Evolution was the cork of choice as the wind laid down and the water temps are begining to drop. The fish were caught on light tackle on a live shrimp. I hope to have more pictures and reports to follow. Tight Lines!

I've really enjoyed using your floats this season, they have put allot of fish in the box for my clients. I had a customer last week from Rode Island, he brought along his 9-year old son and the boy fell in love with the fish catching ability of the Evolution. I had a new pink one on his line and he had no problem seeing it in the chop. Throughout the trip he kept commenting on how much he liked it, so when we got back to the dock I cut it off the line. When handing it to the boy I showed them both the web address printed on the body, so don't be surprised if you get inquiries from the upper East Coast. I've enclosed a photo of the younger member of another father and son outing recently. These guys ended the day with a very heavy box of trout, reds and drum. Matt had never caught a trout until that day, his 24" trout was the highlight of the trip, don't think it would have been possible without the Evolution!
