Redfish with Team Bendarod

Texas Cork Guys,
Here's two pictures of two very happy customers with the results produced by the Evolution Cork. What can I say, our customers just cannot get enough of these corks. The picture is of a father and son who went out with Capt. Jerry. The father is a local dentist here in Savannah and believe me when I say their emotions were running sky high with the fine pair of Reds caught by each. The total catch of Reds that day was 14 with five Reds being tagged and released. Thanks for a great product that produces great catches like this.

Team Bendarod!

I am sending you some pics of some nice Reds caught on the Evolution Cork (THE BEST DAMN CORK OUT THERE) and to let you know that Team Bendarod is still out there fishing. Capt. Jerry and I have been busy pre fishing in Florida to get back in swing for the IFA Redfish Tour. We are trying to get use to the crystal clear water and the 2-4ft tide swings and finding it a challenge as we are use to the dirty water and the 7-8ft tide swings in Ga. But fishing is fishing and what better way to enjoy life. The Fla. Anglers love the Evolution cork and they all but tried to steal them from us with all that cryin they do.....Just Kiddin, they are a great bunch of anglers and love new things to try. You Guys are the Best!! Thanks for everything.

Powder Puff Tournament

Port Aransas, TX
Needless to say this was an exciting day. I am yet again proud of the Hookset Women’s Team “Hook This”. The Girls gave it another good running, placing Second in two categories. The day started early for the women again. Lines in the water at 6:30, so we made the run south to the LLM. Picked up Eight Trout in the first 30 min on the Mid Coast MOJO’s, and as we were sitting there I noticed another boat get up. When they ran out of the cove a small School of Redfish got up as well. I tied the girls up with Gold Spoons and 4” gulps and off we went to find the school. On the first go all three of the girls doubled over, and the action never stopped all day. The girls landed 30 to 40 Redfish form 26”-34“with only one fish under 26”. I finally had to cut off the action to try to go catch a hardhead, needed for the stringer. I know, and yes I said hardhead, but keep in mind the hardhead pot was worth almost a $1000 so we put our pride aside and off to the cleaning tables we went. We caught over 100 hardheads in the last hour with the last one weighing 1.96lbs which was good enough for second place. They also had the runner up redfish of the tournament weighing 7.03 lbs. They just never could catch one with a big belly on him. But I am so proud of the women once again they have proven themselves to be true anglers. So, Happy Fishing and look for the girls again in September for the Saltwater Sweeties. Check out http://www.gulfcoastfishing.com/ for all the information on Powder Puff.

Fishin in Georgia!

The water temp was 82° and stained. Had to look for clear water today. We are in the midst of ASTRONOMICAL tides. These occur 3 or 4 times a year. We experienced very high tides and extreme lows. However this did not affect our fishing. We just had to be careful in the rivers with all the trash that had been washed out of the marshes.
I had Clay, and Al today along with Clays son. Below is some of the fish we kept, and we did release the large 6.5lb redfish that Clay caught. We kept a few normal trout that AL caught, and a very nice trout that Clays son caught, right at 18.5 inches. Clay Kept a 23 inch red and released one that was over 6lbs. All in all a good day of catching. We also caught and released several blues and ladyfish.
Oh, the large trout and reds were caught under the Inticer popping cork and live shrimp from Adams Baithouse. Good Fishing!

Lane and Glynn,
I have attached a pic of a Bull Redfish that was caught 2 weeks ago, during the Oilman's Tourney, in a foot and a half of water! The fish weighed 25 lbs on the Boga and measured 40" !!!The fish was caught using an Evolution! This just goes to show how tuff your corks are !!! Thanks for being one of my sponsors and making a superior product that "Improves the way you fish " !
