Mine's bigger!!!
Capt. Jerry and I head out for a great day with the west winds at 10-15kts and fishing with shrimp and mudd minnows and our two favorite corks the Evolution and the Outcast by Midcoast Products.
We caught a ton of puppy Reds as they were thick as theives and we manage to pull out a few nice ones. Jerry is pictured above with a 34" Red weighing in at almost 13lbs and myself pictured with a 24" Red. What a difference in weight ten more inches makes. Jerrys' Fish is more than twice the weight of mine giving him bragging rights for the day and trust me I never could get him to keeep his mouth shut! Nice catch Captain!!!

Hot action in the Peach state!
Capt. Jerry and his charter Mike Bryant from Richmond Hill Ga, head out to Warrsaw sound and tear up the Reds keeping eight and tagging two over the slot using the Evolution Cork and Live Shrimp. Still a lot of puppy Reds, but some larger Reds are with the school. Good Job!!!!

Texas Tarpon
Here's a Tarpon I caught a couple weekends ago at the SPI jetties. It was caught on a live mullet under a pink Rage cork with 80lb leader. The cork held up great to several VERY large tarpon that jumped off!!
Thanks!!Kyle Jud

The Inticer in Florida!
Hi Guys at MidCoast,
Just wanted to thank you and send you a couple pictures. I met you at the ICAST show. I am from Islamorada and a guide out of Bud n Marys marina.
I have been using the Inticer with a jighead and having really good results with big mangrove snapper. Actually we have had to keep it in the boat sometimes. The big lemon sharks keep eating the corks and I have to go retrieve it after the shark spits it out but thanks a bunch. I am having lots of fun and catching fish. Also am telling the other guides about your product.

The heat is on in Georgia!
I got out this AM to beat the 100 degree heat. We went through a quart of shrimp in 2 hours using EVOLUTION popping corks. I was fishing with my Dad and a co-worker. We had to work through a mess of little trout to find several keepers. One interesting thing that happened included finding an EVOLUTION popping cork down the bank stuck in the grass from a trip I had in this location about a month ago. We managed about 25 trout in the couple hours we got out this morning. Thanks Cork Guys!

Fishing is fun in Georgia!
SW winds 15kts turning S to 20kts+ by the afternoon. I started Fishing in Warsaw Sound today with this awesome couple from Lawrenceville Ga. fishing with the Evolution Popping Cork and shrimp as bait. These two had me cracking up all day. Alisha was truly the best angler of the two catch and releasing two monster Redfish one 25 and one 28 inches. Jason however did make some what of a come back as he was lagging behind Alisha. He showed me this fishing technique of a fish call by clapping his hands together underneath the surface of the water. I am sorry to say that he didn't quite convince me. However Alisha technique was to take her eyes off her cork and behold she would catch fish; she had me convinced!! One of the things I remember most was she told me how to make a woman sound like a Dolphin!

Georgia Cork Guys!
The Arkins are back!!!! A beautiful day SE winds 10-15knts. Adam and Jason are the heroes of the Day both of them fishing with the Evolution Popping cork. Jason tagged and released a Redfish 25 3/4 inches long out of Warsaw Sound. Adam answered back with a nice sheephead these two boys out fished their Dads today. The Arkins kids have now proven twice that they are anglers to be dealt with. Way to go guys!!!

Hill Country Anglers
I had a 3 person trip which consisted of a father and son and a good buddy of theres. They came down from the Fredricksburg area to get away and have some fun.
We got a late start, as they didnt have the desire to get up early so at 7 am we left the house in search of trout early and reds late. We hit East bay to find some trout and things were not looking too good.
We did pick up 5 decent trout, with Ryan (17 year old) losing a trout of a lifetime right at the boat. It would have gone a high 7# to mid 8# and was fairly long.
After around 1030, we decided to try the jetties to see if we could play with some sheepies since they have not ever caught many. We got over there, water was in great shape and fish were there ,but man were they spooky. Didnt even get a snif from the sheepies.
It was getting to be about 1230, so we decided to run back to west and find some reds to play with. By the time we got back into west, the wind was howling and water was getting pretty offcolor so we decided to try a spot with some Midcoast corks and gulps in about 3 ft of water...
FIRE DRILL TIME lol. We got on the first drift and started getting a few hits. Once I got the proper instructions down (loud pops and LOTS OF them lol) we started to hit a few fish. We did 3 drifts and had 7 reds on. By this time it was close to time to go, so we headed in.. They were great customers and appeared to have a good time. Thanks Chip, Ryan and Richard. I had a great time!

Capt. Jerry and I both had charters today and fish in the Warsaw Sound area. Fishing conditions were rough today as we had to deal with NE winds at 15-20kts seas were also rough. Bait of choice today was mud minnows and shrimp a long with Midcoast Evolution corks. The bite was slow as a front had moved in Wednesday but the anglers above did a great job on managing to catch some fish. We also would like to extend our heart to our fellow Captains dealing with all the crap that is happening to them in the Gulf, our best wishes and blessings are with them during these tough times.

Too funny!
Well, sunday was our anniversary so when Thomas got home from work we decided to take the 'tail out for some reds. I had the boat loaded when he got home and we hit the water. Got all the way to our spot when the motor alarm went off. After some investigation, Thomas figured out what it was but we couldnt get the alarm to stop alarming. Nor would the motor run faster than a putt. We were time limited so we needed to get started on the (slow) trip home. We turned around without fishing and putted all the way home with the alarm screaming the whole time. Thomas had a brainstorm to stuff killer flats minnows in our ears. Worked like a charm to keep our ears and our sanity intact.

Hey Mom, Look what we caught!
Cole Mund (Glynn's stepson) & Christopher Maresh, of Needville TX, caught this huge needle nose gar (and several others) while fishing for talapia in a creek outside of Rosenberg TX. They asked us to clean what they caught and we said NO! What better way for them to learn to clean gar than doing it themselves............ I bet they practice catch and release next time!
