Fishing is fun in Georgia!
SW winds 15kts turning S to 20kts+ by the afternoon. I started Fishing in Warsaw Sound today with this awesome couple from Lawrenceville Ga. fishing with the Evolution Popping Cork and shrimp as bait. These two had me cracking up all day. Alisha was truly the best angler of the two catch and releasing two monster Redfish one 25 and one 28 inches. Jason however did make some what of a come back as he was lagging behind Alisha. He showed me this fishing technique of a fish call by clapping his hands together underneath the surface of the water. I am sorry to say that he didn't quite convince me. However Alisha technique was to take her eyes off her cork and behold she would catch fish; she had me convinced!! One of the things I remember most was she told me how to make a woman sound like a Dolphin!

Georgia Cork Guys!
The Arkins are back!!!! A beautiful day SE winds 10-15knts. Adam and Jason are the heroes of the Day both of them fishing with the Evolution Popping cork. Jason tagged and released a Redfish 25 3/4 inches long out of Warsaw Sound. Adam answered back with a nice sheephead these two boys out fished their Dads today. The Arkins kids have now proven twice that they are anglers to be dealt with. Way to go guys!!!

Hill Country Anglers
I had a 3 person trip which consisted of a father and son and a good buddy of theres. They came down from the Fredricksburg area to get away and have some fun.
We got a late start, as they didnt have the desire to get up early so at 7 am we left the house in search of trout early and reds late. We hit East bay to find some trout and things were not looking too good.
We did pick up 5 decent trout, with Ryan (17 year old) losing a trout of a lifetime right at the boat. It would have gone a high 7# to mid 8# and was fairly long.
After around 1030, we decided to try the jetties to see if we could play with some sheepies since they have not ever caught many. We got over there, water was in great shape and fish were there ,but man were they spooky. Didnt even get a snif from the sheepies.
It was getting to be about 1230, so we decided to run back to west and find some reds to play with. By the time we got back into west, the wind was howling and water was getting pretty offcolor so we decided to try a spot with some Midcoast corks and gulps in about 3 ft of water...
FIRE DRILL TIME lol. We got on the first drift and started getting a few hits. Once I got the proper instructions down (loud pops and LOTS OF them lol) we started to hit a few fish. We did 3 drifts and had 7 reds on. By this time it was close to time to go, so we headed in.. They were great customers and appeared to have a good time. Thanks Chip, Ryan and Richard. I had a great time!
