12/7/07 Report
Fishing continues to be great, weather permitting. We are catching limits of trout and some reds on most days provided the tides are good. If you haven't tried the Midcoast Products "Inticer" corks, you really need to give them a try. We are using them with a Norton or DOA Shrimp under them and the fish will nearly take the rod out of your hands at times. Any color with some sparkle in it seems to work well. We have also had pretty good luck with LSU Norton Sand Eel Jr.'s and a light jig head. Been staying up north most of the time; but there is some really good fishing in West Bay at this time also. The flounder are really hitting well at the Yacht Basin. Try a gulp 2" minnow grub on a light jig head dragged slowly across the bottom. Give us a call and come out and enjoy the terrific winter fishing. A lot less crowded and the fishing is great!

November 2007
I have started fishing the north end of Sabine lake catching a few big trout in 2 to 4 ft. drift fishing mussel flats and mud bottom, this pattern is going to get better next month. Keith lake fishing has been great with limits redfish under the birds w/ Outcast corks and Inticer corks over shell reefs using glow/chart bait, this is the best way to fish over shell as we do not get hooked on the shell bottom. Sabine pass channel has been great for flounder, they are on their way to the gulf for the winter and to lay there eggs. the Sabine Pass jetties is holding big redfish, drum and sheephead.

Capt. Rick Reynolds 12/1/07
Capt. Rick scouted with a friend Tom Carfrey. Wind was out of the Northeast at 15 - 20 knots and water temp was 59.7° and stained to clear as the tide came in. We kept 7 trout and 1 redfish. Missed a striper that broke Tom off on the strike. All fish caught on live shrimp From ADAMS Baithouse. I fished with the New Inticer Popping Cork and Tom use the Outcast Popper. Today was a great day to use them as we were able to pitch right into the wind with good results and NO TANGLES. See if you can spot the corks in the 2 pictures below ( by both fishes tails). They are both black.Tom has the Redfish and I am holding an 18 inch trout.

Capt. Rick Reynolds:
I had 1 rod rigged up with the Inticer. I was very skeptical about the way you guys rig this cork. I was surely expecting a major tangle. Even in the wind that cork flew perfectly and DID NOT tangle. I had 4 people fishing so I was not able to test it very long. But that cork is weighted perfectly and it pops very good and the beads do click nicely. I did not let my customers use it as I don't want to lose it on the oysters. I will tell you this, I know I am going to want to get some more of the Inticers. The Inticer is PERFECT for what I do and I am convinced that this cork is going to replace all my other poppers.

New Believer:
Just wanted to tell you how pleased I was using your Inticer last weekend for the first time with live shrimp in W. Matagorda Bay. I will tell you I was skeptical but never a line tangle, not one!!! My wife and I boxed 2 limits of reds and released several more. They cast a mile. I like the way there is a bit of a delay in the chug and the rattle when working the cork. I am a believer in this product!!!!

Miss Tina
Midcoast products,
I just wanted to let you know that I just had my first Texas fishing trip and your corks made my experience wonderful. I have never fished before and had no clue what to do. With the help of your corks, I could cast more consistently and once I got the feel for it, I was hooked. I can't wait to come back and do it all again. I actually stayed a few more days just to fish more. Thanks for a great product.

Just a note to tell you how well the Initicer has worked for me. We have tried it with live bait, but my favorite is a 3" Gulp shrimp under it. The Inticer outfished everything we tried against it. The castability and the sound are second to none and unlike many others they hold up to day in and day out fishing. I appreciate your support and the fine product.

Quote from Capt Daniel Kubecka: Run-N-Gun Adventures
I use corks regularly throughout the year whether using live bait or plastics, I had never come across a cork that could do it all until I used those from Midcoast Products.
The "Inticer" is the greatest thing to ever happen to cork throwers, it combines both distance and action into one dynamite product, even first time users can work this cork like a pro.
The "Outcast" is the cork you need to cast over guts in the surf with the wind in your face, or get a little closer to the birds without scaring the fish, this cork can be cast further than most reels are prepared for.

Update from Captain Dustin Lee
Hey "Cork" Guys,
Sorry it has taken me so long to get some pics to ya'll.
Sorry it has taken me so long to get some pics to ya'll.
All of our fish was caught under the Inticier with a live shrimp yesterday for a box total of 16 Trout and 5 Reds. The Red fish I caught Friday (one of the pics) with the Inticer and a Brown Lure in the Amber color.
Oh by the way the trout in the pic is 26 1/2 inches long.
Thanks
