I have started fishing the north end of Sabine lake catching a few big trout in 2 to 4 ft. drift fishing mussel flats and mud bottom, this pattern is going to get better next month. Keith lake fishing has been great with limits redfish under the birds w/ Outcast corks and Inticer corks over shell reefs using glow/chart bait, this is the best way to fish over shell as we do not get hooked on the shell bottom. Sabine pass channel has been great for flounder, they are on their way to the gulf for the winter and to lay there eggs. the Sabine Pass jetties is holding big redfish, drum and sheephead.
