Due to product feedback we received from members of our Pro Staff and a few of our valued customers, we have realized that some of our “Mojo” corks are subject to failure.
This announcement is being issued to make all our customers aware of the potential problem. The lead weight at the bottom of the cork will possibly slide off during casting, resulting in scattered beads and a float away cork body, leaving you only a nylon coated cable, barrel swivel and a back lash! Evidently not all the leader sleeves that the lead weights are poured around were crimped with the same amount of force, enabling some of them to slide off. That will not be an issue from here forward!
To prevent the afore mentioned, prior to using one of the “Mojo” corks simply place the weight in one hand and the barrel swivel in the other and pull (hard). If it comes apart, place the pieces in an envelope and mail them to us and we will send you a new “Mojo”. If it stays in tact, enjoy fishing with it and send us pics of your catch!
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused, we assure you that we at Midcoast stand behind our products and will do what is necessary to give our customers top quality in everything we produce.
