We went out for a while today dodging the thunderstorms. My buddy and his neighbor set out to wet a line. We were into the fish pretty good but had to work through the bluefish, ladyfish and rat reds. The highlight of the trip was when Brad had hooked a huge sheep head and fought it all the way to the boat when his reel came unscrewed from his rod seat and fell off. He handed it to me and I began to repair it. The other guy starts to hand line the fish in and the knot to the cork comes untied. The sheep head goes deep and then moved up behind the oyster rake. I made a cast at the EVOLUTION cork bobbing down the bank and my hook slid up the line and grabbed the wire at the base of the hook. To the boat the BIG fish comes. We got to argue all the way back on who really "caught" the fish. As you can see we had a very mixed bag including flounder , trout, sheep head, black drum...Tight Lines!
