The Adamski's
I had the opportunity to take my parents out for a day of trout fishing. we used my favorite set up an Evolution popping cork with a live shrimp. As you might guess Mom out caught us both, but I did manage the big trout of the day...................Thanks Cork Guys!

The latest from Georgia
This weekend I volunteered to take one of our country's finest out fishing. Specialist Marvin James drew my name from a hat and we were matched to fish the 1st Annual Fort McAllister Wounded Warriors Tournament in Richmond Hill. GA. It was an Inshore/Offshore Tournament with several catagories and divisions to fish in. All the soldiers were recently wounded in the course of duty durring recent deployments. We set out at 6am and had boated over 20 redfish by 7:30. By 8 AM we were out of bait and had to resupply. We managed another pint of live shrimp and put a very large shrimp under an orange evolution popping cork and let it sail. Marvin, a novice angle, followed my recommendations and boated an 18lb bonnethead shark on light tackle and a 14lb florocarbon leader. We ended the "Best day of his life". boating several trout, ladyfish, sharks and croaker. We won the shark division and placed second in the"slam" only losing by an oz. Thanks cork guys for the tackle to get the job done right!

Georgia trout are back!
It has been some time since we have been able to get out on the water to target sea trout. We have had some extreemly cold winters and trout kills due to the low temps. We got out today with the "shark dog" and Capt. EriK from the 3rd I.D. The bite was one for an hour this morning and we used the Midcoast Evolution popping corks to get our live shrimp to the trout. We ended up fishing under 2 hours and kept 6 trout and a flounder with many throwbacks......................................Thanks Cork Guys for a superior product!

Cold Georgia Reds
I got out last weekend with my little guy. The marina was out of shrimp so we got a few minnows. The wind was blowing and it was cold. The water temp is now 46 degrees. The first 2 drops we hit didnt produce a bite. My boy was talking trash about my fishing choices and was ready to head home. We decided to hit one last spot. He tossed out his EVOLUTION popping cork with a live mud minnow on the hook. After a few minute soak' the first little red of the day slowly sunk the cork. We tossed him back and ended up the day with 3 reds. Two were 16" and one was 22.5", just in the slot. He was still ready to go but wanted to know why we didn't just go to the "good" spot first. A nice day on the water with my boy!

A big thanks needs to go out to Tran Sport Boats and Midcoast Products for giving me the tools to get through the skinny water backlakes to put this father and son group on some monster reds ! Today I had my two brother in-laws and their 2 ten year old sons.Nexus 4's rigged w/ Gulp! under a 18" leader allowed the two youngsters to put a woop'n on their dads. These were all slot reds that went from 5 lbs to 9 lbs.
