I fished the local club tournament this weekend. The day started slow and the short trout and reds were eating up the bait supply in a hurry. I managed to get the short trout out of the way while my partner pulled in the fish that counted. He picked up a nice 3.5# trout which won the big trout division. All the fish were caught on the Evolution. We caught several large black drum, flounder, and more sheepshead which were released. We ended up going through 4 quarts of bait. We cut the trip off early due to the heat advisory and slow action. All in all a good day on the water. Thanks Cork Guys!
