Here are some fishing pics for you from last Friday. We went down to the upper Laguna Madre to do some prefishing on Friday and Saturday for an upcoming tournament August 9th. We found a few good fish and I got some nice "in the water" action shots of an oversize red that Thomas caught. She measured at 29 1/2 inches. My trout was 5#, 25 inches although doesnt look it in the picture. Both were caught on the Evolution cork with a gulp shrimp. Once the wind got up on Friday we really needed the distance and noise of the corks on those open flats. They worked well! This was my first time throwing the Evolution and I have to tell you, I like it. Thomas has been telling me, you have to try one of these!!! He was right! We have thrown the Mojo and the Inticer with success (as you know) but the Evolution rocks! Great distance and no bending of the wire. We use braid and normally the wire on other corks brands will bend and then wrap the line after just a few casts. Not so this time! I used the same Evolution the whole time we were down there and it's still ready to go for the next trip.
Thomas and I say thanks for a fine product!
