I had the pleasure of fishing with Austin and his family today. We started out at the beach pulling whiting our the rail one after another. As the tide came in, we made the run for some trout. The wind was our biggest challenge today. It took many option off the table as it gusted to 20+kts from the SE. we finally settled on a productive drop and pitched out a few Evolution and Rage popping corks to work a grassy bank. We got into some FAT trout with a live shrimp under the Evolution. My crew did a great job casting into the strong winds. If you look close at the trout on the left you can see the scars from a failed porpoise attack. Thanks Cork Guys!
